View/Edit Clock Hour Attendance in User Management
Selecting a student's course in the user management section of the Admin Portal displays an overview of the student's attendance progress for the course. Selecting a session will provide all of the student transaction details as well as the convenience to make an adjustment without leaving the page. This article will cover the attendance details for courses configured with clock hour attendance.
1. From within Admin Home click on Users in the top navigation.
2. Search and select a student from the table display.
3. Select a course.
Course Progress Overview
Beneath the course information is a progress bar for the student's attendance in that course. The bar as a whole is the cumulative time of all attendance sessions that have been completed or scheduled for the course. The total time is broken down in to three different colors.
Starting on the left hand side the dark blue color indicates the total time earned by the student, excluding any time for attendance sessions that are currently in progress.
In the middle of the progress bar in light blue is the amount time that the student was absent for attendance sessions that have completed.
The right end of the progress bar in grey is the total time remaining in all scheduled attendance sessions in the course (including attendance sessions currently in progress).
Below the progress bar the Total Time Awarded gauge displays the percentage of time earned compared to the total time available in all completed attendance sessions.
The Sessions Attended gauge on the right hand side is the percentage of attendance sessions with any amount of earned time compared to the number of attendance sessions with zero time earned.
Attendance Session Records
In the session records each completed attendance session is listed with the date and time along with amount of time earned. A percentage of time earned is displayed and it is color coded as follows:
Green: Full Time Earned
Blue: Partial Time Earned
Red: No Time Awarded
In the top right corner of the session records you can sort by any of the following criteria:
No Time - Zero time was awarded.
Partial Time - Time awarded was between 1% and 99% of time available in the session.
Full Time - Student earned all available time in the attendance session.
Did Not Check Out - Student did not check out and is currently awarded zero time. The red alert icon will be shown on the session tile.
Resolved - Student originally did not check out but an adjustment was made to awarded time. The policy adjustment icon will be displayed on the session tile.
Modified - An adjustment was made to the student's awarded time. The blue adjustment flag icon will be displayed.
Session Transaction Details
Selecting an attendance session record will display all of the transaction details for that session including check-ins, check-outs, and adjustments. Just like the transaction page in the course gradebook, an overview is shown on top and each check-in/check-out session is listed below. Each check-in/check-out session can be expanded to show the complete history.

The Create Adjustment button is located in the upper right corner of the page. Click the button to open the Adjustment Wizard to edit the student's awarded time as needed. For more information on the options available in the Wizard check out the article:
