The New and Shiny:
CAMPUS ADMINS CAN VIEW STUDENT ATTENDANCE LISTS IN DASHBOARDS
We released new dashboard functionality allowing campus administrators with dashboard access to click into course cards to view student attendance statuses. For schools using time-based attendance, you will see which students are checked-in, checked-out, and absent. For schools using points-based attendance, you will see which students are on-time, late, and absent. Administrators with editing permissions will be able to adjust attendance statuses as necessary inside of a designated editing timeframe.
POINTS-BASED CLASSES CAN PRINT QR CODES
Previously only courses using time-based attendance could print QR codes. We updated our options menu for attendance sessions in points-based classes to enable QR code printing. Now every class can print their QR codes ahead of time for students to scan if a projector or screen is unavailable or cumbersome to display.
School administrators can edit attendance statuses - School administrators with editing permissions were previously restricted to the same attendance status editing timeframe as instructors. Now, school administrators can update a student's attendance status at any time
Administrators can mark a student late from the dashboard - For schools on points-based attendance systems, students were unable to be marked late from the dashboard attendance list. We updated this so students can be moved from "On-Time" or "Absent" to "Late."
Fixed typo on the presentation widget - "Send Assessment" was misspelled as "Send Assesment" and has now been corrected.
