Sound Attendance on CourseKey Student for Mobile
Tired of hearing your instructor butcher last names? CourseKey's SecureSound technology allows you to check-in to class and get credit for attendance without taking time away from the lecture!
Here are a few tips on how to get the most our your CourseKey Student application and solve some of the most common issues.
How Do I Check in for Attendance?
Once you are signed in and registered for your class you will see your class list.
NOTE: SecureSound only allows check-in by mobile device using the mobile application.
What if I get an error that says "Signal could not be received"?
If the attendance sound is not being received, here are some things you can do to help fix the problem.
Make you're located near the speakers emitting the signal.
"Allow" CourseKey microphone access during setup.

What if I get an error that says "No Active Attendance"?
This message is letting you know that the attendance session has either not yet started or has already been completed. You will also see the details of the last session.
