Grade Field
The grade field can be applied to any custom built form and offers a variety of helpful options with how to evaluate students accurately and efficiently.
Note:
Use the grade to seamlessly capture your form’s grade and display it in Skills Tracker using the Checklist Item Submission Connector.

Input the label for your grade field.
Grade Rules
Apply the approval threshold for this grade field.
If the Checklist Item Submission Connector has been added to the form, the approval threshold can either be within a percentage or numeric scale based on the selected item’s checklist settings.
Manual Input
If Manual Input is selected then the form grade must be manually entered.
Calculate Average
By selecting Calculate Average, you are able to select a Rounding Policy followed by the selection of numeric fields in which you would like calculated.
After clicking ‘Select Fields':
1. Click on all numeric fields you would like calculate.
a. Only numeric fields will be enabled in this screen selection.
2. Select ‘Apply’ to include all selected numeric fields.
3. "Click ‘Save’ within the Grade modal to confirm.
Fields Check
By selecting ‘Fields Check,’ you are able to establish rules around setting the maximum rejections the form can get before it is fully rejected followed by the selection of numeric fields in which you would like this rule applied to.
After clicking ‘Select Fields':
1. Click on all numeric fields you would like calculate.
a. Only numeric fields will be enabled in this screen selection.
2. Select ‘Apply’ to include all selected numeric fields.
3. "Click ‘Save’ within the Grade modal to confirm.
Grading Rubric
To effectively evaluate your form, you can enable a grading rubric to establish clear grading criteria and define corresponding percentages for each parameter (e.g. Excellent=100% or 5=100%). The grading rubric ensures consistency and fairness in assessment.
Note:
If you apply a grade field to the Checklist Item Submission Connector, it will determine whether the selected items use a grading scale of 0-100 or 0-5, and incorporate this information into the grading rubric.
Please note that grading rubrics cannot exceed 6 when an item is linked to a 0-5 grading scale in its checklist settings.
You are able to reference the established grading rubric by selecting the '?' icon within the grade field.
When assessing the form, numeric fields will be presented as drop-down menus, allowing evaluators to select the appropriate score based on the predefined grading rubric.
