Overview

CourseKey integrates with student information systems used at career and technical colleges and vocational programs, to enable real-time attendance tracking, enrollment monitoring, student retention interventions, and compliance processes.

Automated Integrations

Automated integration with the following SIS providers are currently available, and we are in the process of building integrations with most other providers.

Anthology Student (formerly CampusNexus Student) A bidirectional and automated integration, via Rest API, managed by CourseKey.  The integration supports course setup, rostering, and students' attendance posting, to enable real-time attendance tracking for in-person/ground/synchronous, online/asynchronous, externship, clinical, and blended learning environments.  An extended integration is also available to enable Cortex, for supporting student program enrollment, progression and job placement tracking, as well as compliance processes.  To learn more, read the articles on the Anthology Student SIS integration for students' attendance tracking and Cortex. 
Campus Cafe A bidirectional and automated integration, via Rest API, managed by Campus Cafe.  The integration supports course setup, rostering, and students' attendance posting, to enable real-time attendance tracking for in-person/ground/synchronous, online/asynchronous, externship, clinical, and blended learning environments.  To learn more, read this article on the Campus Cafe website.
Orbund A bidirectional and automated integration, via Rest API, managed by Orbund.  The integration supports course setup, rostering, and students' attendance posting, to enable real-time attendance tracking for the in-person/ground/synchronous learning environment.
RGM To support attendance enablement for the in-person/ground/synchronous learning environment, school admins can easily upload users, courses, and enrollments from the RGM SIS into CourseKey, using batch CSV files (see details below).  An automated integration, via Rest API, and managed by CourseKey, automates students’ attendance posting into the RGM SIS.
Verity A bidirectional and automated integration, via Rest API, managed by Verity.  The integration supports attendance enablement for in-person/ground/synchronous, online/asynchronous, and blended learning environments.

 

Integrations Via Batch CSV File Import/Export

CourseKey supports integrations with other SIS providers, including Fame, as well as homegrown systems, using batch CSV file import and export.

The following batch CSV file imports are supported:

Likewise, to allow posting data back to the SIS, the following batch CSV file exports are supported:

  • student assignment grades,
  • online/asynchronous attendance,
  • in-person/synchronous attendance, and
  • completed and approved skills tracker items.

Support for Custom/Homegrown SIS Integrations

CourseKey provides Rest API services for customers to build custom integrations to sync data between their SIS and CourseKey.  Rest API documentation is available online, and our technical team is also available to guide you through the process of building a custom integration with CourseKey.
