How to Manage Folders
Inside of a collection, all assessments must be stored inside a folder. An Unlimited number of subfolders can be created within each folder.
How to Create a New Folder
1. Log in to Coursekey's application and navigate to the Content tab in the left navigation bar.
2. Chose which collection you would like to add a folder to.
3. Click +Folder at the top right.
4. Enter a Name for your folder in the space provided in the new folder pop-up.
5. Click Create Folder to finish.
How to Create a Subfolder
The Subfolders feature allows you to create a second layer of folders to help organize your Assessments and or Quizzes.
1. From the Content tab locate the specific collection you want to add a subfolder to.
2. Click + Folder and the Create Folder Popup will appear.
3. Enter a Name for your subfolder in the space provided in the folder modal.
4. Select a folder location you would like to add your newly created subfolder to.
5. Click Create Folder to finish.
Note: If a folder is not selected the folder will be created on the top layer of the collection.
How to Duplicate a Folder
The Duplicate feature allows you to quickly copy a folder and the content inside the same folder.
1. From the Content tab locate the specific collection's folder you wish to duplicate.
2. Click the three vertical dots to the right of the folder to provide More Options for that specific folder.
3. Choose Duplicate from the drop-down menu.
4. Enter a Name for your subfolder in the space provided in the new folder modal.
5. Select a folder location you would like to add your newly duplicated folder to.
6. Click Duplicate to finish.
Note: Once the duplicated folder is created you will see it appear under the folder list.
How to Rename a Folder
The Rename feature allows you to change the name of an already existing folder.
1. From the Content tab locate the specific collection's folder you wish to rename.
2. Click the three vertical dots to the right of the folder to provide More Options for that specific folder.
3. Choose Rename from the drop-down menu.
4. Enter the new Name for your folder in the space provided in the rename folder modal.
5. Click Rename to finish.
How to Archive Folders
CourseKey's archiving feature allows you to store content once you're done and restore the content if you want to reuse it.
1. From the Content tab locate the specific collection's folder you wish to archive.
2. Click the three vertical dots to the right of the folder to provide More Options for that specific folder.
3. Choose Archive from the drop-down menu.
4. Click Archive and a modal will appear.
5. Select 'Archive Folder'. It's that simple.
How to Unarchive Folders
1. From the Content tab locate the specific collection's folder you wish to unarchive.
2. Choose Archives near the search bar.
3. Click Archives and you will be taken to the archives page.
4. Click the three vertical dots to the right of the folder to provide More Options for that specific folder.
5. Select Unarchive and a modal shall appear.
6. Select a folder and click Unarchive & Move.
Note: When you are unarchiving a folder you have the freedom to choose where you want the archived content to live. This could even mean a brand new folder.
